摘要
西方后现代思潮是本世纪８０年代传入中国的一种文化思潮，它的引进对我国译论研究具有积极的意义，但后现代思想应用于翻译理论研究时又表现出一种局限性。在对传统的作者观、文本观和读者观进行一番简略的介绍和阐述之后，尝试用后现代的观点来重新审视翻译过程中原文作者、原文、译者、译文读者之间的关系，并对运用后现代思想研究翻译问题的利与弊进行总结与评述。
The postmodern thought, which was introduced into China in the 1990's, plays a positive role in the translation studies of China. But it has its limitations in its application to the translation studies. This paper, after a brief introduction and analysis of the ideas of the author, the text and the reader, makes an attempt to reevaluate from a postmodern perspective the interrelationship between the author, the original work, the translator and the reader of the translated work. At the same time, the paper makes a summary of and some comments on the advantages and disadvantages of the application of postmodernism to translation studies.
