摘要
翻译研究的文化转向后,后现代翻译理论逐渐成为翻译研究关注的热点。然而由于后现代翻译理论流派众多,不同流派的理论追求并不一致,因此后现代翻译理论中出现了一些看似自相矛盾的论述。本文总结了后现代翻译理论中存在的四个悖论,并对这些悖论进行了阐释。本文认为,后现代翻译理论中的这些悖论的出现一方面是由于后现代翻译理论体系的芜杂,另一方面是由于人们对后现代主义的误解。
Postmodern translation theory has been highlighted after the Cultural Turn of Translation Study. Because of the different theoretical purposes of various schools,there are seemingly some paradoxes in postmodern translation theory. This paper firstly summarizes four paradoxes and then provides them with detailed interpretations. According to our analysis,reasons for the emergence of those paradoxes lie in the miscellaneousness of postmodern schools on the first hand and more in the misunderstanding of the nature of postmodern translation theory on the other hand.
