摘要
谢无量的《中国大文学史》在20世纪初中国文学史书写中的意义,不仅在于其自身的广博、精深,在一些问题上有独到的见解,更在于它充分体现了当时的传统学人在面对新旧、中西文化碰撞时的思考与犹疑。在中西"文学"观念的差异上,既突出美艺之文学,也要保存中国的传统之"文";在新旧史学观的差异上,运用新史学的视角来看待文学史,但经学的影响仍然被放置首位;在西方进化论的影响下,以继承传统的"源流正变"论为基础,注重文体的"一代有一代之所胜";在书写实践中,既继承传统史学的资料素材、书写方式和叙述观点,也将自己的议论和观点熔铸其中。这部文学史体现了时代的过渡性质,谢无量关于如何对待传统文化的思考和选择,对于当下仍然有所启发。
The typical significance of The History of Chinese Literature in the early 20 th century lies not only in unique insights on some issues,but also in the thinking and hesitation that arose when faced with new and old,Chinese and Western cultures.The difference between Chinese and Western "literary"highlights both the art literature and traditional Chinese"literature".In terms of the difference between the new and old historical views,the literary history was analyzed from the perspective of new historiography,but the classics had an overwhelming influence;affected by the Western evolution theory,people,on the basis of the theory of"change from tradition",paid more attention to the style that"different generation has different merits".In practice,people not only took in the material materials,writing methods and narrative views of traditional historiography,but also integrated their own arguments and opinions.This literary history has an advantage of the transitional nature of the times.The way that Xie Wuliang thought and chose in the traditional culture still inspires a lot of people.
