摘要
基于2004—2018年省级面板数据,从空间视角检验双向FDI协调发展的碳减排效应及其内在机制,实证研究发现,碳排放强度在中国呈现显著的空间依赖性;双向FDI协调发展会显著缓解本地碳排放强度,且地理上相邻省份的双向FDI协调发展水平能够发挥空间溢出效应,对本地碳减排做出贡献;机制分析表明,来自本地和邻地的双向FDI协调发展均能够带动绿色技术进步实现本地碳减排,而邻地双向FDI协调发展还能通过产业调整提升本地产业结构合理化水平,降低本地碳排放强度。建议继续坚持双向FDI协调发展的高水平对外开放,并积极发挥地区间的绿色溢出效应。
The carbon emission reduction effect of two-way FDI coordinated development and the internal mechanism of the effect is examined based on the provincial panel data from the 2004-2018 period.The empirical study reveals that the spatial dependence of carbon emission intensity in China is significant.Two-way FDI coordinated development significantly reduces the carbon emission intensity,while the level of two-way FDI coordinated development of geographically adjacent provinces will exert a spatial spillover effect that contributes to local carbon emission reductions.The mechanism analysis shows that the two-way FDI coordinated development of the local and neighboring regions can both promote the progress of green technologies and achieve the goal of local carbon emission reduction,while the two-way FDI coordinated development of a neighboring region can increase the level of industrial structure rationalization of the local region through industrial adjustment,so as to reduce the local carbon emission intensity.Therefore,it is suggested to maintain the high-level opening to the world with two-way FDI coordinated development,and actively expand the green spillover effect between regions.
