摘要
                
                    口译学能测试作为高等院校口译专业选拔生源的重要手段,其预测效度直接影响生源选拔结果和教学培训质量。本研究以我国高等院校口译专业硕士学生作为受试者,对其展开包括逻辑记忆测试、语言焦虑量表测试和成就动机测试的系列口译学能测试,探索其预测效度。研究发现,逻辑记忆测试对于受试者的英汉和汉英交传表现具备显著预测效度,对后者的预测能力更强;受试者的语言焦虑量表测试结果与其成就动机水平均无法预测两个方向的交替传译表现。基于研究结果,本研究建议口译院校在招生选拔环节重视复述测试的作用,同时审慎对待语言焦虑或成就动机等心理性格因素的考察。
                
                Interpreting aptitude test serves as an important instrument for interpreting programs housed in institutes of higher learning to screen and select potential candidates.Their predictive validity has a direct bearing on the result of candidate admission and the quality of subsequent training.This study invites Chinese interpreting trainees at the post-graduate level to participate in an interpreting aptitude test battery composed of the Logical Memory Test,the Language Anxiety Scale and the Achievement Motivation Test in order to explore the tests’predictive validity.Results indicate that the Logical Memory Test enjoyed significant predictive validity for both English-Chinese(E-C)and Chinese-English(C-E)consecutive interpreting(CI)tests,with its predictive power being stronger for the latter than the former.However,neither the language anxiety scale nor the achievement motivation test demonstrated any significant predictive power for E-C or C-E CI performance.The study thus suggests that interpreting programs prioritize the use of recall in candidate admission and take caution in considering learners’psychological and affective dispositions,including language anxiety and achievement motivation.
