摘要
减速作为加速社会的例外状态,提供了难得的反思机会。本文以哈特穆特·罗萨的社会加速理论为起点,梳理了围绕速度及加速形成的思想谱系,指出了媒介在其中的特殊作用。在海德格尔、基特勒等人的理论光照下,本文认为,数字媒介作用于时间,成为源始时间和时间经验之间的操控性中介。本文以"媒介时间性"这一概念来替代"媒介时间",将之作为生存境况,强调它意味着时间尺度从人与自然的关联中剥离,也由此指出,媒介在时间性上的替代性和创造性使用有助于形成社会的良性减速,从而带来驻足沉思的可能性。
Slowing down,as a state of exception from social acceleration,provides a rare opportunity for reflection.Taking Hartmut Rosa’s theory of social acceleration as a starting point,this article combs through the genealogy of thoughts around speed and acceleration,and highlights the special role of the media.Shed by the theoretical light of Heidegger,Kittler and others,this article argues that the digital media becomes a manipulative intermediary between primordial time and temporal experience.This paper replaces“media time”with the terminology of“media temporality”to emphasize an existential situation,and by so doing,points out that the alternative and creative use of media with the concerns of time contributes to a virtuous social deceleration,which leads to the possibility of reflective thinking.
