摘要
潘懋元先生坚定地倡导与支持民办教育发展,在民办高校尚处于“其形必丑”的“初生之物”阶段,就提出了“民办高等教育是我国社会经济发展必然要求”的基本观点,是我国民办高等教育重建与研究的首倡者,之后长期关注、开展和引领国内民办高等教育研究,对民办教育法律法规和政策建设产生了重要影响。潘先生关于高等教育发展、高校办学规模、大学教师发展、MOOC教学、学术规划等方面的研究,对民办高校的办学者、实践者有着深刻的教诲和引导意义,体现着与时俱进、中庸之道的“时中”精神,具有现实性和超越性。潘先生一生钟情于自己的教师身份,教师的职业荣光寄托着先生对教育的深沉厚爱和理想信念,也在精神层面引领着民办高等教育工作者的幸福感,始终保持对教育事业的信念、信心和热爱,追求教育事业的使命和社会价值。
Mr.Pan Maoyuan firmly advocated and supported the development of private education.At the birth stage of private colleges and universities of China,he put for-ward the basic idea that"private higher education is the inevitable requirement of China's social and economic development."As one of the initiators of the reconstruction and research of private higher education in China,he contributed his whole life to the development of China's private higher education,and his research had an important impact upon the construction of laws,regulations and policies of private education.Mr Pan's research on the development of higher education,the scale of higher education,the development of university teachers,MOOC teaching,academic planning and other aspects has profound teaching and guiding significance for the scholars and practitioners of private colleges and universities.His research embodies the spirit of the"new era"that keeps pace with the times and the doctrine of the mean,which is both realistic and transcendent.Mr Pan loved his profession as a teacher all his life.The professional glory of teachers was based on his deep love and ideals and beliefs in education.He leaded the happiness of private higher education workers at the spiritual level,and he always maintained his faith,confidence and love for education,and pursued the missions and social value of education.
