The purpose of this review paper is to explore the critical role of prescription review of Chinese medicines in medical practice and the challenges faced in the implementation of rational drug use. By thoroughly analyzing the historical background, methods, influencing factors and future trends of prescription review of Chinese medicines, we can better understand the importance of prescrip-tion review of Chinese medicines in improving patient safety and treatment outcomes.
