摘要
在经济全球化和文化一体化的大背景影响下,英语作为“世界性语言”的地位进一步巩固。在新时代课程思政教育背景下,我国的高校英语教学体系也逐渐与“文化一体化”接轨。当前,高校英语教育教学不再局限于传授学生基础知识和基础技能,而是更加关注学生的发展及文化素养的提高;一方面是满足“学生是发展中的人”这一特性;另一方面是为了满足时代、经济、政治、文化各领域对人才的需求。英语学科的“理解性”和“文化性”对实施课程育人和培养学生综合文化素养有着得天独厚的优势。基于此,本文就文化强国视阈下高校英语教学改革展开分析和论述,希望可以给高校英语教育工作者提供些许建议和启发。
Under the influence of economic globalization and cultural integration, the status of English as a “global language” has been further consolidated. In the context of ideological and political education in the new era of curriculum, the English teaching system in Chinese universities is gradually aligning with “cultural integration”. Currently, English education and teaching in universities are no longer limited to imparting basic knowledge and skills to students, but pay more attention to the development of students and the improvement of cultural literacy;on the one hand, it satisfies the characteristic that “students are developing individuals”;on the other hand, it is to meet the demand for talents in various fields such as the times, economy, politics, and culture. The comprehensiveness and cultural value of the English subject have unique advantages in implementing curriculum education and cultivating students’ comprehensive cultural literacy. Based on this, this article analyzes and discusses the reform of English teaching in universities from the perspective of cultural power, hoping to provide some suggestions and inspiration for English educators in universities.
