摘要
语言与人类意识有一种共生关系。人类意识内容的表达使以人声为媒介的语言符号得以形成 ,语言符号也在人类意识的表达中得到发展。然而在人类意识外化要求下产生的语言及其派生形式对人类意识的表达也有某种局限性 ,语言表达的人类意识是人类意识中需要外化及语言形式所能外化的部分。在以往的研究中 。
The author challenges the generally-accepted symbiotic relationship be tween language and the human consciousness that the expression of human consciou sness prompts the formation of the voice-based language symbols and the languag e symbols,in turn,develops in the expression of the human consciousness.He ho lds,instead,that language and its derivations as produced by the externalizati on of the human consciousness act,in effect,to limit human expression and that the consciousness expressed is only part,and for that matter,the externalized part,of the whole human consciousness.Previous studies seem to overstate the import of language in the expression of human consciousness.
