摘要
语言作为人类最重要的交际工具,在行使交际职能时,要面对一定的交际对象,是在特定的时间、空间、一定的社会背景和历史条件中进行的。语境对词句具有约束与创造作用,这对人们的语言理解起了十分重要的作用。语言的使用与特定的环境有密切的联系,利用语境能够辨识歧义和透过原文词句的表层结构探寻到其间的真正含义。
Language as the most useful communicative means for human beings is used in performing communicative functions,and it always faces a certain message subject under the conditions of specified time, space and social and historical background. Context functions in binding and creating the meaning of words and sentences, which plays an important role in understanding the language. The language usage is closely relevant to the specified environment. Different meanings of words can be worked out from the context and the actual meaning can be sought through the surface of words and sentences in the text.
