摘要
在跨文化传播的研究与理论中存在着三种不同的模式,即跨文化传播的行为模式、跨文化传播的认知模式与跨文化传播的理解模式。这三种模式的侧重点各有不同,也都存在着自身的局限性。通过对这三种模式的分析与比较,对跨文化传播研究的未来发展提出具有建设性的建议。
Three models of intercultural communication theory and research--the Behavioral, the Cognitive, and the Interpretive--are identified and examined respectively. Some limitations are revealed through a review of the literature. Finally, suggestions are made about possible directions for future intercultural communication theory and research.
