摘要
NTP授时广泛应用于Internet中,为计算机提供较精确的时间。本文主要研究在广域网中NTP授时的精度相关问题,NTP通过网络为计算机进行授时,而网络传输过程中时延的不确定性,授时过程也必然存在一定的偏差。本文提出了一种通过GPS高精度时间测量NTP授时精度的方法,建立了一套实验方法,设计了一套实验方案,并采集了一段实验结果,对实验结果数据进行分析、处理,得到了一组相对客观稳定的实验结果。通过长期的实验测试,得到了在一段时间内NTP授时的精度的结果,该结果表明NTP授时精度在10毫秒数量级上。
NTP time service is widely applied in Internet. It provide the accurate time for computer. This paper focuses on the precision of NTP time service. As the uncertain delay of network, there the deviation exists in NTP time service’s way. The paper proposed the method that measures the accuracy for NTP time service with the help of high-precision time of GPS, established a methodology, designed a program and collected and analyzed the data. With the enduring experimental data, it demonstrates the NTP time service, in the WAN, has the 10 millisecond accuracy.
