摘要
17世纪荷兰代尔夫特陶器在欧洲中国风的发展过程中所扮演的角色,在很长一段时间里没有得到足够的重视和明确的阐释。相关资料表明,17世纪荷兰东印度公司大量进口的中国外销瓷不仅为欧洲人想象中国提供了直观的视觉材料,并在荷兰引发了追求东方异国情调的风尚。为满足市场需求,荷兰代尔夫特陶匠从技术和装饰方面借鉴和模仿中国瓷器。在模仿中国题材的过程中,荷兰代尔夫特陶器融合了本土艺术,并致力于表现想象中的以中国为主的东方形象,这实际上极大推动了中国风的产生和发展。
The role that Dutch Delftware played in the development of Chinoiserie in the seventeenth century has not yet received much scholarly attention and clear interpretation for a long time. This article explores how Chinese porcelain imported in large quantities by the Dutch East India Company in the seventeenth century provided the first-hand materials for Europeans to visualize and imagine China,and also inspired the vogue for the exotic orient in the Netherlands. To meet the market demand,Delft potters attempted to adopt decoration style and craft skill of Chinese Porcelain. In the process of imitating Chinese motif,Dutch Delftware integrated the native art,and committed to present an imaginary image of China,which actually greatly drove the emergence and development of Chinoiserie.
