1.《文子》残简四次称引“传曰”,即指早于竹简的传本《文子》。传本《文子》与今本《文子》非问答体部分有着一致性。2.《越绝书》、《淮南子》所称引的“传”正是指传本《文子》。3.九篇本《文子》即由“传”本《文子》和竹简问答体《文子》汇编而来,今本《文子》乃是承袭九篇本而来。4.今本《文子》与《淮南子》互见部分有共同来源,即传本《文子》。
1. As Zhuanyue is quoted four times in the fragmentary bamboo-slip version of Wend, it is therefore supposed to be its annotated version earlier than bamboo-slip version of Wenzi. And its annotated version and current version are identical with each other with the exception of the question-and-answer part. 2. The 'Zhuan' quoted in Yuejueshu and in Huainanzi refers precisely the annotated Wenzi. 3. Its nine - article version originates itself from the compilation of its annotated version and its bamboo - slip question - and - answer version, and, again, its current version is developed from the nine - article version. 4. In addition, certain parts in the current version and Huainanzi share the same origin, i.e. the annotated Wenzi.
