英语教师反思型教学实践初探 被引量:121

摘要 教师是影响教学改革的关键因素之一。英语教师不能仅凭所学的语言知识和基本教学技能从事教学,教师必须在具体的教学环境中不断地进行反思,才能把理论和实践有效地结合起来,成为问题的解决者和决策的制定者,借此加强教师职业的专业化,进一步提高专业能力。 Teacher quality is one of the key elements which determine the success of educational reformation. However , the present English teaching reformation has laid much emphasis on teaching materials, teaching methods, and learning process, hardly paying enough attention to how teachers should perform their functions. Meanwhile, the assumption that a teacher's subject knowledge and teaching skills obtained from his/her observations and experiences constitute his/her professional abilities exerts a negative influence on teachers when they endeavor to improve their performance. The condition is even worse concerning Chinese English teachers, most of whom have little systematic pre-service education and little chance for in-service education. With the advancement of teacher education program, English teachers are provided with more opportunities to extend their professional abilities in teaching English. It's high time for English teachers to get involved in teaching reformation, to be a reflective teacher, to be a decision-maker , and above all, to be a researcher as well as a teacher.
