摘要
针对传统的基于小波变换的压缩方法具有方向选择性差的缺陷,将Contourlet变换与小波变换相结合,并提出图像纹理度的概念,结合人眼视觉特性实现Contourlet方向变换的最优分解,并在此基础上采用SPECK算法对岩心图像进行压缩编码。实验结果表明:改进后算法的压缩效果明显好于SPECK算法,并能更有效地保留岩心图像的边缘和纹理特征。
Considering the wavelet transform-based traditional compression method’s direction selectivity de-fects,combining Contourlet transform with wavelet transform was proposed,including the idea of image texture degree and human visual system(HVS)to achieve optimal decomposition of the Contourlet direction transform and then to adopt SPECK algorithm to compress and encode core images.The experimental results show that, the compression effect of improved algorithm outperforms the SPECK algorithm and it can save edginess and texture features of the image more effectively.
