珠江口红树林湿地微塑料赋存特征及其来源分析

Occurrence and Source Analysis of Microplastics in the Mangrove Wetlands of Pearl River Estuary

摘要 开展珠江口红树林湿地微塑料赋存特征及来源研究,为珠江口污染防治提供基础数据支撑。以珠江口淇澳岛、坦头村和海鸥岛红树林为研究对象,于2024年9月采集3个区域光滩区、低植被区和高植被区共27个表层(10 cm)沉积物样品,借助激光红外成像光谱仪检测微塑料,运用双因素方差分析和冗余分析(RDA)探究其分布特征与来源。结果显示,研究区共检测到29种微塑料,光滩区微塑料丰度大于植被区,大多数微塑料粒径为20~50μm;3个区域微塑料赋存特征与周边人类活动差异相关,植被区利于微塑料累积且类型更丰富;RDA显示,水产养殖、石化产业和日常生活污染是影响微塑料分布的关键因素,光滩区微塑料更易受日常生活和石化产业污染影响,植被区微塑料则更多受水产养殖活动控制。 Mangrove wetlands are characteristic coastal ecosystems that perform multiple ecological functions and play a crucial role in maintaining the stability of coastal ecology.As a major estuarine sys-tem in southern China,the Pearl River estuary is subject to various forms of pollution.In recent years,mi-croplastic(MP)contamination in the mangrove wetlands of the region has intensified,underscoring the need to investigate and trace MP sources.In this study,the mangrove wetlands of the Pearl River estuary were selected for research,and we analyzed the composition and occurrence of MPs in mangrove sedi-ments and explored the potential sources of MPs to the estuary,aiming to provide fundamental data sup-port for pollution prevention and control.In September 2024,27 sediment samples were collected from the mudflats,and high vegetation and low vegetation zones of three representative sites(Qi’ao Island,Tantou Village,and Haiou Island)for measurement of MPs using LDIR(Laser Direct Infrared)imaging spectrometry.Two-way analysis of variance(ANOVA)and redundancy analysis(RDA)were used to in-vestigate the distribution and sources of microplastics.Results show:(1)A total of 29 types of MPs were identified in the mangrove sediments.In the Qi'ao Island mangrove area,the most abundant microplastic types in the mudflat zone were polyamide(PA,21.9%)and polyurethane(PU,20.4%),while the vegeta-tion zone was dominated by acrylic resin(ACR,20.9%).In Tantou Village mangrove areas,the mudflat zone had the highest proportions of styrene-butadiene rubber(SBR,15.4%)and styrene butadiene styrene(SBS,13.1%),with the same two types also predominating the vegetation zone at 10.8%and 12.2%,re-spectively.At Hai'ou Island,polypropylene(PP,17.0%)and fluoro-rubber(FKM,15.7%)were the most prevalent microplastics in the mudflat zone,whereas chlorinated polyethylene(CPE,19.9%)dominated the vegetation zones.Two-way analysis of variance(ANOVA)showed no significant differences in micro-plastic abundance between different locations and habitats,with sediment microplastic abundance ranges of 3340.76-11078.66 particles/kg at Qi’ao Island,2856.45-15275.27 particles/kg at Tantou Village and 1536.91-6521.85 particles/kg at Haiou Island.In general,microplastic abundance was higher in the mudflats than in the vegetation zones,with most particles ranging from 20 to 50μm in size.(2)The occur-rence of MPs varied among the three sites and were closely associated with differences in anthropogenic activities.Distinct spatial differences were also observed between mudflats and vegetated zones,where vegetation was found to promote the accumulation of MPs and contributed to greater diversity in MP types.(3)Results from RDA indicated that aquaculture,petrochemical industry,and population density were the primary factors influencing MP distribution.MPs in the mudflats were more strongly associated with pollution from daily human activities and petrochemical sources,whereas those in the vegetated ar-eas were predominantly influenced by aquaculture activities.
