接枝聚烯烃对碳酸钙填充复合材料分散结构与拉伸性能的影响

Effects of Grafted Polyolefin on Dispersion Structure and Tensile Properties of Calcium Carbonate Filled Composites

摘要 马来酸酐(MAH)接枝聚烯烃相容剂广泛用于碳酸钙填充聚烯烃复合材料的制备和改性。以填充质量分数50%碳酸钙的聚乙烯/乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(PE/EVA)复合材料为研究对象,对比研究了马来酸酐接枝聚乙烯(PE-g-MAH)和马来酸酐接枝乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(EVA-g-MAH)对其结构和性能的影响。结果表明:PE-g-MAH促进了碳酸钙粒子在PE相中的分散而形成选择分布结构,EVA-g-MAH增强了EVA相的极性及与碳酸钙粒子间的作用,从而改善其相界面作用。引入PE-g-MAH和EVA-g-MAH分别使吸收峰强度比(I_(1735)/I_(1426))提高至0.40和0.28,复合材料中PE的熔点分别提高1.55℃和0.66℃。接枝聚烯烃强化了复合材料的拉伸强度从而弱化其断裂伸长率,加入PE-g-MAH能够使复合材料的拉伸强度达到14.2 MPa,加入EVA-g-MAH能够使断裂伸长率达到350%,PE-g-MAH和EVA-g-MAH的共同作用使复合材料在23℃条件下40 d后断裂伸长率的变化率达到43%。 Maleic anhydride(MAH)grafted polyolefins as compatibilizer are widely used in the preparation and modification of polyolefin composites filled with calcium carbonate.The study focused on polyethylene/ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer(PE/EVA)composites filled with 50%calcium carbonate by mass.It compared the effects of maleic anhydride-grafted polyethylene(PE-g-MAH)and maleic anhydride-grafted ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer(EVA-g-MAH)on their structure and properties.The results showed that PE-g-MAH enhanced the dispersion of calcium carbonate particles in the PE phase,creating a selective distribution structure.EVA-g-MAH boosted the polarity of the EVA phase and the interaction between the particles and EVA phase,improving the interphase interaction.Adding PE-g-MAH and EVA-g-MAH increased the intensity ratio of absorption peaks(I_(1735)/I_(1426))ratio to 0.40 and 0.28,and raised the melting point of PE in the composites by 1.55℃and 0.66℃,respectively.The grafted polyolefins strengthened the tensile strength of the composites but reduced their elongation at break.PE-g-MAH increased the tensile strength to 14.2 MPa,while EVA-g-MAH raised the elongation at break to 350%.The combined effect of PE-g-MAH and EVA-g-MAH resulted in a change rate of 43%in the elongation at break of the composite material after 40 days at 23℃.
