摘要
向水性与向地性共同决定了植物根系在土壤中的生长方向,但植物激素调控向水性与向地性的方式仍有待明确。本研究以4种生态型的黄花苜蓿(Medicago falcata)资源为材料,添加植物生长调节剂,测量其根尖向水、向地弯曲角度。结果表明,对氯苯氧乙酸、三碘苯甲酸和秋水仙素都可以显著抑制黄花苜蓿的向水性和向地性,而洛伐他汀对其向水性和向地性都没有显著影响,表明黄花苜蓿根尖的向水性和向地性依赖于生长素的极性运输和根尖细胞分裂。同时,研究发现供试黄花苜蓿的向水、向地性与其生境降水量负相关。本研究探明了生长素与细胞分裂素参与黄花苜蓿向水性与向地性的方式,深化了对于苜蓿属植物向性的研究,也可为耐旱、高产苜蓿的选育提供理论基础与技术支撑。
The hydrotropism and gravitropism of root tip determine the direction of plant root growth in the soil,but the ways in which auxin and cytokinin regulate hydrotropism and gravitropism are still controversial.In this study,four ecotypes of Medicago falcata resources were used as materials,plant growth regulators were added,and the hydrotropic and gravitropic bending angles of their root tips were measured.The results showed that 4-CPA,TIBA and colchicine could significantly inhibit the hydrotropic and gravitropic curvature of Medi-cago falcata,while lovastatin had no significant effect on the hydrotropic and gravitropic curvature,suggesting that the hydrotropism and gravitropism of the root tip in Medicago falcata was dependent on the polar transport of auxin and cell division of the root tip.Additionally,the study found a negative correlation between the hydrot-ropism and gravitropism of the tested Medicago falcata and precipitation levels in their native habitats.This research elucidated the roles of auxin and cytokinin in the regulation of hydrotropism and gravitropism in Medi-cago falcata,promoted the study of tropism in Medicago species,provided a theoretical basis and technical sup-port for the breeding of drought-tolerant,high-yield alfalfa,and offered insights for future studies as well.
