摘要
脂肪酸(FA)作为一类必需的营养物质,对维持犬、猫健康起着极为重要的作用,其中包括对犬猫的生长发育、毛发健康、认知功能及心血管等多个方面。宠物在体内可自发合成非必需脂肪酸(EFA),但对于必需脂肪酸,必须通过饮食获得。当宠物日粮中多不饱和脂肪酸(PUFA)不足时,会导致各类疾病的发生,如过敏、自身免疫异常、皮炎及代谢疾病等。文章从犬猫对脂肪酸的营养需要特点、脂肪酸生理功能、脂肪酸在犬、猫上的应用研究等不同角度进行了阐述,以期为脂肪酸在犬、猫上更好地应用提供必要的理论依据。
Fatty acid(FA),as an essential nutritional substances,play an important role in the health of dogs and cats,including growth,hair health,cognitive function and cardiovascular effects.Pets could spontaneously synthesise non-essential fatty acids in the body,but essential fatty acid(EFA)must be obtained from the diet.If the polyunsaturated fatty acid(PUFA)in the pets diet is insufficient,it can lead to various diseases such as allergies,autoimmune disorders and dermatitis for pets.Therefore,this paper reviews the nutritional requirement characteristics of FA in dogs and cats,physiological function and the development of application of FA in dogs and cats,which would provide the necessary theoretical basis for better application of FA in dogs and cats.
