摘要
21世纪被誉为地下空间开发世纪,而岩土工程在地下空间开发中发挥着不可替代的作用。本研究以科技英语文体学理论为基础,通过分析大量原版教材实例,从词汇、句法和篇章三个层面系统探讨岩土工程英语的文体特征。研究创新性地运用直接成分分析法解析长难句结构,并针对各层面特征提出相应的翻译策略,旨在为岩土工程英语的汉译实践和相关技术人员的专业英语学习提供理论指导。
The 21st century is marked by underground space development,where geotechnical engineering plays an indispensable role.Based on the theoretical framework of scientific and technical English stylistics,this study systematically examines the stylistic features of geotechnical engineering English at lexical,syntactic,and discourse levels through analysis of extensive examples from original textbooks.The research innovatively applies Immediate Constituent Analysis(IC Analysis)to decode complex sentence structures and proposes correspond-ing translation strategies for features at each level.This study aims to provide theoretical guidance for Chinese translation of geotechnical engineering texts and professional English learning for technical personnel in the field.
