摘要
黄梅戏以其独特的唱腔、优美的唱词、极具特色的地方文化表现力深受大众喜爱,但因中外文化差异,英译唱词难以反映地方特色,保留原汁原味,黄梅戏的海外译介进程较慢,受众较小。该文在文化翻译理论指导下,以黄梅戏中的精彩唱段为例,主要探讨黄梅戏的英译策略,具体分析增译、转译及归化在黄梅戏唱段中的运用,实现文化层面的等值功能,以此为戏剧翻译提供新的视角,并推动中华戏曲文化的传播与交流。戏剧英译是文化交流的重要方式,翻译的本质归根结底是目标语群体与源语群体的文化交流,因此,译者必须注重双向文化要素,把握戏剧的本土文化特质,同时兼顾目标语的文化要素,推介中华戏曲文化。
Huangmei Opera is widely accepted and popular with its opera tune,libretto,and distinctive local cultural features.Cultural differences between China and foreign countries make Huangmei Opera hard to keep its original taste,thus its overseas translation process is slow with limited group audience.The paper specifically analyzes the application of addition,conversion and domestication of Huangmei Opera libretto to realize the cultural equivalence under the guidance of cultural translation theory in order to provide a new perspective for drama translation and promote the communication of Chinese drama culture.The English translation of drama is a significant way for cultural communication.The essence of translation is the cultural exchange between target language group and source language group.Therefore,translators must focus on the two-way cultural elements,pay more attention to the local cultural characteristics of drama and balance the cultural elements of the target language,promoting Chinese traditional opera culture.
