假肢包装:健全身形观主导的流程化实践及其困境

摘要假肢包装意在弥补残缺的身体形态,然而使用者常对假肢的包装细节、假肢包装后的形状等表示不满,部分使用者甚至选择不包装假肢,这说明假肢制作并未达到本应具有的美化意图,同时单一化的假肢包装模板也逐渐背离了残障者日益多样化的自我与身体呈现。本文深入分析假肢包装的逻辑,将主导这一实践的身体观念总结为健全身形观。健全身形观旨在强调完整的健康身体形态对重塑残障者社会身份的意义,区别于将健全身体作为唯一正常身体形态与能力衡量标准的健全身体观,二者的共同之处在于它们均要求残障者以健全的身体状态为参照对象与目标。而假肢包装的吊诡之处在于,它既实践了健全身形观,也在一定程度上缓解了部分使用者因内化此观念而产生的身体焦虑。 Prosthetic beautification aims to compensate for the impaired body shape,but users often express dissatisfaction with beautification details and shapes of the beautified prosthesis.Some users even choose not to beautify their prosthesis.These feedbacks indicate that prosthetic production has not achieved the intended beautification,and the single beautification templates are gradually deviating from the increasingly diverse self-expression and body presentation of disabled people.This article conducts an in-depth analysis of the logic behind prosthetic beautification and summarizes the body concept that dominates this practice as intact-bodiedness.The intact-bodiedness emphasizes the significance of a complete and healthy body shape in reshaping the social identity of people with disabilities.It differs from the able-bodiedness which takes the complete and healthy body as the only standard for measuring normal body shape and ability.The commonality between the two is that they both require people with disabilities to use a healthy state as a reference object and goal.However,the paradox of prosthetic beautification lies in the fact that it not only practices the intact-bodiedness,but also,to some extent,alleviates the physical anxiety caused by internalizing this concept among some users.
