摘要
《习近平谈治国理政》英文版是目前中国最为权威的时政外宣英译材料,而其中许多语料彰显其文学性特征。通过文献收集、回顾和梳理,从文学语言虚指性角度,探讨第三卷中的文学性再现,从语音、语形和语义三个方面总结翻译策略的选择规律。研究认为第三卷的英文版灵活采用合译、拆译、意译、省译和转译等方法,成功地使文学性再现服务于信息传递和文化传播。本研究为中国对外话语体系建设提供新视角,推动中国智慧、中国方案和中国故事更加有效地被英语世界理解和接受。
Xi Jinping:The Governance of China is one of the most authoritative political translations for external publicity,in which numerous“golden sayings”highlight its literariness.Through collecting,collating and reviewing relevant literatures,the thesis investigates the reproduction of literariness in its English version from the aspect of pseudo-referentiality,and summarizes the rules that guide the selection of translation strategies at the phonological,morphological and semantic level.After combing,classifying and researching cases,the thesis concludes that the reproduction of literariness in the English version successfully facilitates effective information transmission and culture dissemination by means of combining,splitting,free translation,conversion,omission,and so on.This study is hoped to offer a fresh perspective to the construction of China foreign discourse,thus bolstering the comprehension and acceptance of Chinese wisdom,Chinese approaches,and Chinese narratives in the English-speaking world more effectively.
