摘要
中药说明书的英译对中医文化的传播具有重要作用。文章以受控语言理论为指导,从词汇、句法、篇章三个层面对中药说明书的英译进行分析。研究发现,中药说明书的英译存在术语标准化不足、语义精确度不高、句子冗长、篇章结构缺失等问题,并提出相应建议,以期提高中药说明书英译的规范性和易读性,推动中医文化更好地走向世界。
The English translation of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)instructions plays a crucial role in the transmission of TCM cultures.Based on the Controlled Language Theory,the paper analyzed the English translation of TCM instructions from three levels:vocabulary,syntax,and discourse.The research revealed problems in the English translation of TCM instructions,including insufficient terminology standardization,low semantic accuracy,lengthy sentences,and missing structures.Corresponding suggestions were provided,aiming to enhance the standardization and readability of English translation of TCM instructions,and to facilitate the globalization of TCM cultures.
