摘要
木本农业乃是近年来才提上研究日程的新概念,欧美学者对此已有系统的研究,但我国学术界的引进、消化、吸收却颇感滞后。原因在于我国南方特别是西南地区木本农业的历史传统虽然甚为悠久,也在历史上作出过卓越的贡献,但明清以后逐步趋于式微。这与我国西南地区自然与生态结构,不仅适应于木本农业的发展,而不太适应于草本农业的发展特别是现代化的草本农业发展有关。为此立足于今后超长时段的粮食安全、生态建设乃至丰富我国人民的食品构成多样化的客观需要,复兴西南各民族木本农业,不仅必要而且切实可行。做好此项重大的农业转型,可望为生态文明建设的进一步落实以及生态维护质量的提升发挥重大作用。
Intensive woody plant agriculture is a new concept that has been put on the research agenda in recent years.European and American scholars have systematically studied it,but its introduction,digestion and absorption in the Chinese academia are lagging behind.The reason is that although in the south of China,especially in the southwest,intensive woody plant agriculture has a long history and has made outstanding contributions in history,but it has gradually declined since the Ming and Qing dynasties.Intensive woody plant agriculture is consistent with the natural and ecological formations of southwest China,suitable for the development of such a farming practice particularly in the modern sense.It is argued that it is not only necessary but also feasible to revitalize the intensive woody plant agriculture for all Chinese ethnic groups in the southwest based on the objective needs of food security,ecological construction,and even the diversification of the food composition in the future.This agriculture-transforming project is expected to play a major role in the construction of ecological civilization and the improvement of the ecological quality.
