摘要
随着我国经济的不断发展,专业英语已经逐渐成为广大教师乃至学生重点关注的范畴,以专门用途英语(English for specific purposes,ESP)为导向的专业英语是培养不同行业英语人才的主要途径。从医学院校的角度进行分析,全面创新大学ESP教学模式,是医学院校实施英语教学改革的有效环节,更能切实地提高ESP教学的质量和效率,这对提升医学院校大学生的英语职业素养以及提升其整体综合素质能力具有重大的意义。文章先概述并分析了ESP,然后论述了医学院校英语教学的现状,最后就职业素养背景下大学ESP教学模式的实施进行了进一步的研究探讨,以培养学生成为综合型英语人才,助力我国人才强国建设。
With the continuous development of Chinese economy,specialized English has gradually become the focus of teachers and students,English for specific purposes(ESP)as the guidance of specialized English is the main way to cultivate English talents.Analysis from the perspective of medical colleges and universities and a comprehensive innovation of ESP teaching model are the effective link of English teaching reform in medical colleges and universities,effectively improve the quality and efficiency of ESP teaching model,and have a great significance to cultivate the English professional quality of the medical colleges and universities students.The paper first analyzes ESP,then discusses the current situation of English teaching in the medical colleges and universities,and finally further studies the implementation of ESP teaching model in the medical colleges and universities under the background of professional quality.The purpose is to train students to become comprehensive English talents for the construction of talent powerful nation strategy.
