摘要
当代科学研究与社会问题的复杂化、综合化趋势使跨学科研究焕发生机,而有效开展跨学科研究活动则有赖于形成稳定的制度路径。基于权变理论的互补观点,采用案例分析法,通过对英国雷丁大学农业-环境研究中心(CAER)跨学科制度安排的解析,将开展跨学科研究活动的制度安排及其动力机制模型化。发现跨学科研究中,配置5种关键组织要素的制度安排通过形成互补结构,使要素产生指向创新产出目标的协同效应;环境因素对组织产出的正反馈促使大学基于递增的制度回报形成自我强化动力机制,巩固既有制度安排。国家应对研究型大学的科研制度安排、要素配置与环境驱动因素进行系统调整,来构建有效的跨学科研究制度路径。
The complication and integration of contemporary scientific research and social issues have brought new vigor to interdisciplinary research,and to implement interdisciplinary research activities effectively,a stable institutional path is necessary.Based on the complementarily perspective of organizational contingency theory,this paper is a case analysis of the Center for Agri-Environmental Research(CAER)at the University of Reading to modeling the institutional arrangements and dynamic mechanisms for conducting interdisciplinary research activities.Found that the institutional arrangements formed a complementary structure through configuring 5 key organizational elements in interdisciplinary research activities,so that the elements produce a synergistic effect which points to the goal of innovation output.The positive feedback of environmental factors to organizational output prompts research institutions to form a self-reinforcing dynamic mechanism based on increasing institutional returns,thereby consolidating existing institutional arrangements.China should systematically adjust the institutional arrangements,elements configuration and environmental incentives of scientific research institutions to build an effective interdisciplinary research institutional path.
