摘要
涂鸦现象是存在于城市公共空间的“亚文化”景观,是具有“反语言”特质的社会符号,其背后隐匿的社会文化含义日益引起学界关注。基于先行研究厘清了涂鸦概念的属性和特征,并提出涂鸦界面研究的初步设想。分析结果显示,涂鸦现象兼具X景观(非典型语言景观)和边缘话语的双重属性,具有临时性、越界性、寄生性、多模态性等区别性特征。研究人员可选取社会认同、批评话语分析、城市政治学、场所符号学、对话性等跨学科界面研究路径来描述、解读和阐释涂鸦景观,旨在揭示社会语言现实所负载的内隐意义。研究结论对拓宽涂鸦现象的研究视域和路径具有一定的借鉴意义。
Graffiti is a kind of sub-cultural landscape in urban public places, and it is also a social symbol with anti-language characteristics. The social and cultural meanings conveyed by graffiti are increasingly attracting the attention of experts and scholars in the related field. Based on the attributes and characteristics of graffiti in the previous research, the preliminary ideas of graffiti interface studies are put forward. The findings show that graffiti phenomenon has the dual attributes of X-Scape(atypical linguistic landscape) and marginal discourse, and has the distinctive characteristics of temporariness, transgression,parasitism, and multi-modality. interdisciplinary perspectives are helpful to describe and analyze graffiti phenomenon, and theoretical perspectives include social identity, critical discourse analysis, urban politics,place semiotics and dialogism. This study will help to reveal the implicit meaning of language use in public places, and the aforementioned research outcomes can broaden the horizon and diversify the approach on the studies of graffiti phenomenon.
