谁参与了英语课外补习?——基于中国教育追踪调查数据的实证分析 被引量:1

摘要 在“双减”政策下,重新审视课外补习背后的群体选择有助于学校了解学生发展需求,进一步完善课后服务体系。基于中国教育追踪调查数据,采用分层Logit模型分析了初中生参与英语课外补习的影响因素。研究发现,在学生个体特征方面,英语学习感知越不吃力的初中生参与英语课外补习的几率越高;在家庭背景方面,家庭文化资本越高的初中生参与英语课外补习的几率越高;在学校特征方面,就读学校排名靠前的初中生参与英语课外补习的几率更高。建议政府提高办学质量,均衡义务教育资源;教师开展协商性话语实践,提供个性化课后服务;家长减少教育焦虑,理性看待教育竞争和文化再生产。 Under the"double reduction"policy,reexamining the group choice behind extracurricular tutoring will help schools understand students′development needs and further improve the after-school service system.Based on the data of China Education Panel Survey(CEPS),multilevel logit model was used to analyze the contributing factors of junior high school students′participation in English tutoring.The results indicated that,students who perform well in English and have higher family cultural capital are more likely to participate in English tutoring after class.Junior middle school students who come from top-rank schools are more likely to participate in English tutoring after class.In light of the results,three suggestions are proposed.Firstly,the government should improve education quality and balance the resources of compulsory education.Secondly,teachers are recommended to carry out consultative discourse practice and provide personalized after-school services for students.Thirdly,parents are suggested to reduce anxiety and take rational perspectives on educational competition and cultural reproduction.
