摘要
贝西·黑德的作品以南部非洲内陆之国博茨瓦纳为创作中心,以令人震撼的笔墨描绘了卡拉哈里沙漠边缘地区的风景和脆弱的荒漠生态环境以及百姓在旱灾面前求助巫术的无奈行为,指出生态恶化是意识形态、思维方式、政治制度、经济利益、宗教信仰等多方因素交织驱动的人类行为的后果。贝西·黑德倡导通过科学生态手段恢复和保护生态环境,通过人与土地的相互关爱和呵护,实现遭破坏的土地和受创伤的人之间的相互治愈,表达了她的基于人与自然生命共同体思想的生态观和共同发展的非洲梦想。
Bessie Head’s works are centered on Botswana,a landlocked country in southern Africa.She depicts the shocking landscape and fragile ecological environment on the edge of the Kalahari Desert,as well as the desperate actions of the people to seek witchcraft in the face of droughts.In her works,Bessie Head points out that ecological deterioration is the consequence of human activities driven by ideology,way of thinking,political system,economic interests,religious beliefs and other factors.Bessie Head advocates restoring and protecting the ecological environment through scientific means,and realizes healing of the damaged land and the traumatized people through mutual care and love between people and land,expressing her view of ecology based on the idea of a community of life for man and nature and the African dream of common development.
