摘要
从1904年创刊至1948年停刊,《东方杂志》刊发大量关于社会主义、马克思主义的文章,对理论的源流、内涵、代表人物及其实践活动进行了报道。事实上,由于期刊自身立场与风格的影响,《东方杂志》对于马克思主义的传播主要是一种“知识”的介绍与普及,而非特定政治立场的表达。这与杂志以学术普及为宗旨、以实践为导向的办刊原则相一致,也为当时先进的知识分子找寻国家出路、挽救民族危亡提供了丰富的思想资源。随着对马克思主义认知的深化,包括保守派在内的许多知识分子逐渐认识到马克思主义对于解决中国现实问题的重要价值,部分读者与作者亦在思想激荡中逐渐成长为共产主义者。借助于《东方杂志》等刊物,马克思主义进一步广泛而深刻地影响了一大批有识之士,为中国革命指明了道路。
From 1904 to 1948,Oriental Magazine has published lots of articles about socialism and Marxism,especially introducing the origin and definition of socialism,the important socialists and their practice in the world.As a matter of fact,due to the its position and style,Oriental Magazine's dissemination of Marxism is mainly an introduction and popularization as a kind of"knowledge",rather than the performance of specific political positions.This is consistent with the principle of academic popularization and practice-oriented,and also provides rich ideological resources for the advanced intellectuals at that time to find the way out of the country and save the nation from danger.With the deep-ening of their understanding of Marxism,many intellectuals.including conservatives,gradually realized the important value of Marxism in solving practical problems in China,and some of them also grew up as communists in the pluralistic ethos.Based on the Oriental Magazine and other publications,Marxism further extensively and profoundly influenced a large number of people of insight and pointed out the way for the Chinese revolution.
