中加大学教师美德清单的质性比较分析 被引量:1

A Qualitative Comparative Research on the List of Virtues of University Teachers Between China and Canada

摘要 美德清单是美好道德品质的集合,是学术界通俗易懂的说法,与伦理学专有词汇“德性目录”含义相同,既能反映一个人的德性观,传递一个国家或民族的道德经验,又是个体养成良好德性品质的“抓手”。美德清单对人类道德经验的高度概括能够反映一定的社会文化和个体价值取向。为揭示在不同文化语境之下,中国和加拿大大学教师对教师美德理解的异同,以两国共32名“获奖”大学教师为研究对象,使用卡片选择法和追踪访谈法,根据词频高低,分析得出两国受访教师的美德清单。两国大学教师的美德清单既体现了大学教师职业特性所决定的美德普世性,也揭示了显著的文化差异下大学教师道德经验的不同。 The list of virtues refers to the collection of good moral qualities.It is an easy-to-understand term in academic circles.It is synonymous with the ethics vocabulary“virtue catalogue”.It can not only reflects a person’s view of virtue,and conveys the moral experience of one country or nation,but also mirrors the direction of the development of good moral qualities.The overall summary of this list concerning human moral experience can demonstrate certain social culture and individual value orientation.In order to reveal the similarities and differences of understanding of the list of virtues between Chinese and Canadian university teachers in different cultural contexts,32 awarded-laureates from4 universities of the two countries were selected as subjects,and the list of virtues of the teachers was obtained on the basis of word frequency by using card-selection method and follow-up interview method.Generally speaking,the list of virtues of university teachers of the two countries reflects the liberal nature of moral virtues determined by the profession features of university teachers,meanwhile,it also reveals the differences caused by marked cultural characteristics.
