摘要
明代山水画中人物视觉形象的描绘体现了对“物”的关注:即读书与赏物,这与南宋山水画中人物“看景”的形象不同,预示了中国古代士人“观看”文化的内在转变。在以往的视觉活动中,中国士人的“看”与“读”密切相连,明代士人在“观物”的过程中其实是一种视觉性的展演行为,“看”的含义在明代得到了丰富与发展。联系明代特殊的消费社会与文化背景,可以揭示明代士人正是通过对“物”的体察来实现自我的社会属性,从而建立起一种有别于大众的身份意识与观念态度。尤其是在以雅集为主题的明代山水画中,士人的阶层意识和虚拟交游得以实现,他们在观物中建立了自己的社会身份和交游规则,因而形成了一种复杂的观看事件。
The description of the visual image of the figures in the Ming Dynasty landscape painting ref lects the attention to"things":reading and appreciating things,which is different from the image of the figures"looking at the scene"in the Southern Song Dynasty landscape painting,indicating the internal change of the ancient Chinese scholars"looking at"culture.In the past visual activities,Chinese scholars’"seeing"was closely connected with"reading".In the process of"obser ving things",the Ming scholars’"seeing"was actually a kind of visual per formance,and the meaning of"seeing"was enriched and developed in the Ming Dynasty.In connection with the special social and cultural background of consumption in the Ming Dynasty,it can be revealed that the scholars in the Ming Dynasty realized their social attributes through their perception of"things",thus establishing an identity consciousness and concept attitude different from the public.Especially,in the Ming Dynasty landscape paintings with the theme of elegant collection,the intellectuals’class consciousness and vir tual social intercourse were realized,and they established their own social identity and social intercourse rules in the obser vation of objects,thus forming a complicated viewing event.
