摘要
从1987年武汉大学毕业,在长江文艺出版社做编辑,到如今担任湖北省编辑学会会长,三十多年的编辑生涯,让周百义先生积累了大量的出版经验,成为国内出版领域具有重要影响力的知名专家。2019年5月底,《中文论坛》编辑团队前去拜访了周先生并进行了交流。本文为此次访谈的文章,周先生从自身的出版实践出发,生动而翔实地介绍了自己投身出版业的经历,探讨了编辑与作家的关系、历史小说的出版、目前的行业瓶颈以及新时代编辑的定位和职业素养等问题,发表了对知识付费、文学作品的影视化改编等现象的看法,并分享了有效进行图书市场调研的具体方法,为致力于投身出版行业的编辑提供了重要的理论参考和实践启迪。
In 1987,Zhou Baiyi graduated from Wuhan University,worked as an editor at Changjiang Literature and Art Publishing House,and now serves as the president of the Hubei Provincial Editorial Association.After more than 30 years of editorial career,Mr.Zhou has accumulated a lot of publishing experience and has become a well-known expert with great influence in the domestic publishing field.At the end of May 2019,the editorial team of the Forum of Chinese Language and Literature visited Mr.Zhou and exchanged ideas.During this interview,Mr.Zhou talked about his early career experience.He also discussed many issues with the team such as the relationship between editors and writers,the publication of historical novel,the bottleneck of publishing industry,the new role of editors,and the professionalism required as a modern editor.He also commented on topics of paid content,TV/film adaptation from novel,and the market research strategies for publishes.His enlightened opinions on publishing industries are extremely valuable for every editor who wants to devote into this industry.
