摘要
近代以来,中西历史思想的深入交流对探索“历史理论”这一概念的源流提出了要求。历史地来看,“历史理论”源起于古希腊语中的“历史”与“理论”;西方文艺复兴之后,“历史”与“理论”两个词语产生了频繁的联系,“历史理论”这一术语随之出现;在学习近代西方先进思想的潮流中,“历史理论”这一概念传入中国,并在马克思主义、与史学理论的区分、与中国传统历史思想相结合等方面拓展了内涵。深入认识“历史理论”一词的源流对于推动中西历史思想进一步沟通具有关键性的作用。
Along with the exchange of thoughts of history between China and the West since modern times,there have grown up requirements for exploring the origin of the concept of"theory of history".Historically,the phrase of"theory of history"originated from two ancient Greek words of"■"and"θεω■".From the Renaissance on,frequent contacts had been established between the two words,and the term"theory of history"appeared accordingly.In the trend of learning advanced thoughts of the modern west,the concept of"theory of history"was introduced into China.During its spread and development in China,the concept has obtained such three marvelous connotations as one in the context of Marxism,one different from"theory of historiography",and another combing with Chinese traditional thoughts of history.An in-depth understanding of the origin of the phrase"theory of history"will play a key role in promoting a further communication in the field of theory of history between China and the west.
