摘要
采用语料库研究方法,分别从词汇、句子两个层面,对《易经》18个英译本开展翻译风格的对比研究。研究结果表明,绝大多数译本的翻译风格基本一致:译词选用合理,句式结构难度适中,少数译本显现出独特的翻译风格。此外,国内译本和国外译本也显现出不同的翻译风格:前者译词简单易懂,重复率高,句式复杂;后者译词庞杂少见,重复率低,句式简明。
This article uses corpus research methods to conduct a comparative study of the translation styles of the eighteen English translations of the Book of Changes from two levels of vocabulary and sentence.The research results show that the translation styles of most translations are basically the same:the selection of translated words is reasonable,the difficulty of sentence structure is moderate,and a few translations show unique translation styles:Rudolf Ritsema’s translations have complicated translation styles,simple sentence structure,and difficulty in reading.relatively bigger.In addition,domestic translations and foreign translations also show different translation styles:the former has simple and easy-to-understand translations,high repetition rate,and complex sentence patterns;the latter has many and rare translations,low repetition rate,and concise sentence patterns.
