摘要
冯沅君在“五四”时期发表的小说《隔绝》《隔绝之后》和《旅行》在叙事方式、题材选取和小说主题上具有不少共性,因而被看成是“五四”时期描述青年自由恋爱的“爱史”三部曲。这三部小说采用第一人称叙事,使小说中的女性叙事者构造出了一种“单向度”的叙事声音,同时有意地塑造了“作者”与“叙述者”之间的割裂。这种叙事策略构筑出了介于“现实”与“叙事”之间的有趣反差,折射出女性叙事人充满“辩护”意味的叙事背后无处不在的隐瞒和欺骗,从而使小说试图展现“自由恋爱”的主题显得更为复杂深刻。
Quite similar in both narration and theme,the novels written by Feng Yuanjun during the period of May 4 New Literature Movement,including The Isolation,After the Isolation and The Trip,are praised as“Love’s Epic”in Chinese modern literature history.This article tries to throw light on the similarities of narrative features of these three novels.By separating the“author”and“narrator”,it is observed that these novels,which are written in the first-person narration,constructed a myth of“free love”with defensive and also biased speeches by the female narrators.The adoption of this strategy of narration led to an interesting contrast between the interior and exterior of the narration,so that inevitably complicated and deepened the novel’s theme.
