摘要
学术自由存在于思维、制度和理念的范畴,并伴随历史变迁不断进行自我调适以面对时代的挑战。学术自由缘起于古希腊探究真理的理念,在制度上同中世纪市民权利相类似,其特质又与基督教文化密切相关。自由知识和自由学科是学术自由在大学中的具体表现形式。学术自由变革的驱动因素包括了权利制度化、知识理念的变革和集体权力的增长。进入现代社会后,学术自由遭遇到诸多的危机,使得其更加需要新的载体与时代担当。
Academic freedom exists in the categories of thinking,system and ideas. Through the change of history,it constantly adjusts itself to meet the challenges of the times. Academic freedom originates from the idea of exploring truth in ancient Greece,which is similar to civil rights in the Middle Ages,and its characteristics is closely related to the Christian culture. Free knowledge and free discipline are the specific forms of academic freedom in universities. The driving factors of the change of academic freedom include the institutionalization of rights,the change of knowledge concept and the growth of collective power. After entering modern society,academic freedom has encountered many crises,which makes it more in need of a new carrier and the responsibility of the times.
