摘要
萧红的《生死场》以细致的观察和越轨的笔致写出了“北方人们对于生的坚强,对于死的挣扎”,并成为1930年代中国抗日文学的扛鼎之作。1970年代末,《生死场》英译本开始在英美国家传播,西方世界将其解读为“生老病死”的人生哲学,是对东北民众生活画面的真实刻画。作品在英美国家的接受形态对世纪之交国内学者关于萧红《生死场》主题阐释产生了重要影响。也就是说,当萧红及其作品沉寂了30多年,抗日主题离开了历史的大背景,民族乡土文学叙事的萧红则被人们所忆起。其英文文本旅行到海外,再回流到中国大陆,《生死场》也被赋予了更丰富的主题意蕴和文学价值。
The Field of Life and Death by Xiao Hong,with careful observation and deviant style,shows“the northeast people’s firmness for life and their struggle for death”,which became the masterpiece of Chinese Anti-Japanese literature in the 1930s.At the end of the 1970s,the English version began to spread in Britain and the United States.The Western world interprets it as a philosophy of life of“birth,aging,illness and death”,which is a true portrayal of the life picture of the northeast people.When Xiao Hong and her works have been silent for more than 30 years,the Anti-Japanese theme has left the histor⁃ical background,and the narrative of the national local literature has been remembered by people.The English version travels overseas and reflows to China.The Field of Life and Death is also given rich theme and literary value.
