摘要
大学英语教学历经多年的探索与改革,逐渐摸索出了一些较为科学、合理、特色化的教学方法和模式,相关部门也推出了更为丰富的教学素材供各级学校选择使用。总结多年本科英语一线教学经验发现,改革之后的素质教育、翻转课堂、创新思维等概念均在实践中被证明有一定成效,但未能如预期所愿提高学生应用英语的积极性和能力。本文依据霍夫斯泰德文化维度理论模型,分析艺术类大学中,教师英语教学与学生学习英语过程中的文化矛盾,探索未来大学英语教学策略修正,以期为提高学生英语应用能力给出些许建议,为大学英语教学助力。
After years of reforming and exploration,a relatively scientific,reasonable and specialized teaching mode has been developed for College English Teaching.Meanwhile,relevant departments and organizations have developed colorful teaching materials for different levels of colleges and universities.However,according to my years of teaching experience,new teaching concepts like renovated quality-education,flipped classrooms,innovative thoughts etc have been proved to be not rather effective as expected,resulted from some conflicts during practical teaching processes.Therefore,this thesis proposes to analyze the teaching and learning conflicts in college English teaching by taking Hofstede’s theory of cultural dimensions as theoretical guide,in order to find out certain tips for reducing the conflicts and promoting college English teaching in certain ways.
