摘要
当前,地方高校连年扩招,导致大学英语教学师资缺乏,师资水平参差不齐。教师运用陈旧的教学模式,阻碍了地方高校大学英语教学层次的发展和提升。因此,要想提高学生学习英语的积极性,在课堂实践中,教师就必须改进教学方式,创新教学方法,才能实现大学英语教学水平的稳步提升。
When continuous expansion of local universities results in shortage of college English teachers and imbalance of teaching competency among existing teachers,the outdated teaching also undermines the development and improvement of college English teaching in these schools.To improve students'motivation,Teachers should have to upgrade teaching practice and teaching methods in classroom teaching so as to enhance the quality of the course as a whole.
