摘要
西夏石窟造像显密兼容,其中密教造像的风格和题材受到10世纪末11世纪初梵文贝叶经插图和新译密教成就法的极大影响。通过对西夏壁画内容的深入分析,作者发现榆林窟、东千佛洞、五个庙等石窟壁画及黑水城出土唐卡中出现的诸多题材均与11世纪大译师巴哩所传成就法有密切关联。本文将对巴哩《成就百法》的结构内容、其在西夏境内的传播路径以及西夏石窟造像体系与该法的关系展开讨论。
Tangut grottoes housed Exoteric and Esoteric Buddhism images together. The Esoteric Buddhism images in style and theme are much influenced by the illustrated palm-leaf scriptures and the new translation of Sadhanas of the late 10th to early 11th centuries. It is studied by the content of the Tangut murals that the images in the caves of Yulin, East Thousand Buddha, Five Temple and the Thangka excavated in Khara Khoto thematically have close ties with Sadhana Treaties translated by Ba ri who was a renowned interpreter of the 11th century. The thesis attempts to discuss the Buddhism classics of Ba ri brgya rtsa regarding its organization, content, circulation in the territory of Tangut and its relations with the Buddhism image system of Tangut Grottoes.
