摘要
考虑边权重和相互依赖网络间的耦合强度对负荷的影响,提出一种新的边初始负荷定义方法,并通过分析边级联故障蔓延的动力学演化机制,构建相互依赖网络上带有可调参数的级联故障负荷模型。以提高相互依赖网络整体抵制级联故障能力为出发点,依据不同度量指标,多角度分析具有不同耦合模式的相互依赖网络鲁棒性与模型参数之间的关联性,研究相互依赖网络上的整体保护策略。通过优化相互依赖网络间的连接模式,探讨提高网络整体抵制级联故障鲁棒性的优化策略。研究发现:负荷分布在相互依赖网络级联故障中扮演着重要的角色;网络间的连接模式和模型参数值都会影响相互依赖网络的鲁棒性;不同参数值下网络抵制级联故障的最优连接模式;提出的网络耦合模式优化方法能够明显地提高网络抵制故障蔓延的鲁棒性。
In recent years,disasters caused by cascading failures have occurred frequently in many critical infrastructure networks,such as traffic networks,power grids,communication networks,and Internet networks.Such disasters have an extremely bad impact on society,economy and people's life,thereby resulting in immeasurable losses.Therefore,many scholars in the emergency management have been researching on the mechanism of cascading failures and exploring effective methods to improve the robustness of the overall network.Currently,the research on cascading failures has gradually shifted from single-level networks to coupled networks.However,the existing researches analyzed the cascading failures triggered by the interactions between coupled networks only from a static perspective.The current literature often does not consider the dynamic characteristic of load in realistic coupled networks,especially the effect of the edge weight and the coupled strength on cascading failures.Therefore,the current study cannot practically reflect the dynamic process of cascading failures in coupled infrastructure networks.Considering these issues,the paper firstly presents a new method to define the initial load on an edge based on the effect of the edge weight and the coupled strength on the load.Secondly,according to the dynamic evolution mechanism of the edge cascading propagation,a new model of edge cascading load model with tunable parameters is constructed.Next,the robustness of interdependent networks against cascading failures is studied in three different coupled patterns and the whole protection strategies in interdependent networks are proposed.Moreover,the optimization methods of the link patterns between interdependent networks are discussed from two perspectives.By comparing the robustness of interdependent networks before and after optimizing,this study identifies the optimum coupling patterns between interdependent networks corresponding to different parameters of this model.Finally,through the analysis of the process,some important conclusions are drawn.The results show that the load plays an important role in the dynamic process of cascading failures in interdependent networks.In addition,this paper discusses the global cascading phenomena of BA interdependent networks in three different kinds of connection patterns and shows that both link patterns and parameters in our model affect the robustness of interdependent networks.According to numerical simulation curves based on network robustness and vulnerability metrics indices,this study finds that when the values of model parameter are small,the DL coupling pattern can allow interdependent networks having stronger robustness.While the model parameter values are large,the AL connection pattern makes interdependent networks more stable.Moreover,in order to avoid the paralysis of the whole network,the value of parameterαis not to be near 0.2.In addition,the proposed optimization methods of the coupled pattern can significantly improve the robustness of interdependent networks against cascading failures.In summary,the proposed theoretical model of cascading failures in this paper can be applied to realistic interdependent critical infrastructure networks.In addition,the research results of the study can provide theoretical and methodological guidance for the construction and development of infrastructure network systems.In another word,our study has important theoretical and practical implications.
