在以现实主义为主流的儿童文学创作领域,杨鹏具有极高的辨识度。他始终不遗余力地疾呼"保卫想象力",并致力于开拓儿童文学幻想世界,其创作呈现出"生活型幻想"、"科学型幻想"、"狂欢型幻想"等不同类型的特点,作品累计销量数千万册,获得过20多个国家级奖项。杨鹏的儿童文学工业化观点、类型化理论,又使他相对独立于儿童文学话语圈。杨鹏深谙类型文学创作之道,作品不仅具有极强的可读性,而且又能于夸张戏仿中深蕴现实批判,在铺排幻想时始终贯穿童心关怀。作品内里反类型的、超越时代的思想内蕴与文学价值,使得他的类型化作品突破了时代的局限,具有了热闹之余的意义深度。
Yang Peng is highly recognizable among the majority of realistic writings in the field of chil-dren's literature.He calls for“defending imagination,”and devotes himself to the development of fantasy worlds.His creations show different features,such as"lifestyle fantasy,”“science fantasy”and“carnival fantasy.”His books are sold cumulatively tens of millions of copies and have won more than 20 national awards.His opinions on industrialization and genres of children’s literature,makes him relatively distant fromthe circle of children’s literature.He is well versed in various genres of literary creation.His works not only are reader friendly but also bear criticism toward reality through the means of exaggeration and parody.The consideration on childlike innocence coexist with the amplification of fantasy.There is also a potential of anti-genre,critically reflective,and literary quality in his works,which has granted his works pro-found meaning and unfettered form.
