摘要
夏传才先生在《诗经研究史概要》中认为:孟子在《诗经》研究的方法论上,提出"以意逆志""知人论世"的命题,但是孟子的诗说,并不能完全运用他自己提出的一些合理的方法。细推敲发现夏先生这个观点有失偏颇。说诗和引诗属于文学的两个范畴,说诗是鉴赏原诗的过程,引诗属于文学创作的范畴,孟子的"以意逆志""知人论世"的理论是针对说诗提出的,与其实践的"引诗"并不矛盾。
In“Essentials of the Studies on the Book of Songs”Mr.Xia Chuancai presents that:on the methodology of studying“Book of Songs”,Mencius put forward“By the Meaning Against the Will”and“Understanding of Human Beings and Comments on Human Affairs”,but some reasonable methods Mencius put forward were not applied into his poetry theories.Such opinion of Mr.Xia Chuancai may be biased.The poetry expanding and quoting the poetry belong to the different literary category,namely the poetry expanding is to appreciate the poetry while quoting the poetry is to create poems.Mencius’“By the Meaning Against the Will”and“Understanding of Human Beings and Comments on Human Affairs”theory don’t contradict with his poetry practice.
