摘要
"价值"是价值学的核心概念,是整个价值理论的基石,理应给出严谨规范的定义,然而已有的各种定义互不兼容,甚至能否定义价值概念也存在争论。摩尔提出价值(善)是一个单纯概念,不能用其他复合概念定义它,任何把价值界定为某种有价值事物的做法都犯了自然主义谬误。价值实体说、价值性质说和价值关系说分别从实体、性质或关系的角度回答价值是什么,然而由于价值的客观实在性无法得到确证,它们对价值概念的界定也受到质疑。"价值"其实是评价用语,它作为评价用语有涵义却没有指称,确定它在评价事物时的主要涵义就可以完成对它的定义。
'Value' is the core concept of axiology and the cornerstone of the whole value theory.It is supposed to give a precise and normative definition of the concept of value.However,there are various definitions that are incompatible with each other,and there is even a debate about whether we can define the concept of value.Moore proposed that value(good)is a pure concept,which can’t be defined by other compound concepts,and any attempt to define value as something with value commits the fallacy of naturalism.The theory of value entity,the theory of value nature and the theory of value relationship respectively answer what value is from the perspective pf entity,nature or relationship.However,because the objective reality of value cannot be confirmed,their definitions of the concept of value are also questioned.In fact,'value' is an evaluative term.'Value'has meaning but no reference,so the definition of 'value' can be confirmed by determining its main meaning in evaluating things.
