摘要
以选矿副产物金云母为主要原料,分别添加CaF_2、Li_2O、ZrO_2,采用无压烧结法制备云母陶瓷。主要研究了添加剂种类、烧结温度对云母陶瓷的物相、微观结构和力学性能的影响。结果表明,CaF_2和Li_2O促进金云母分别转型为氟金云母、透辉石和铁白榴石、铁镁橄榄石,ZrO_2不会促进金云母转型为其它物相,而是促进金云母的烧结及致密化。添加ZrO_2后,陶瓷的抗折强度随温度升高变化明显,经1100℃烧结后抗折强度为32.55 MPa。综合比较,添加ZrO_2的云母陶瓷其力学性能最优。
Mica ceramic was prepared by pressureless sintering with phlogopite from the by-product of mineral processing as raw material and CaF2, Li2O, and ZrO2 as additives. The effects of the additives and the sintering temperature on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the prepared mica ceramics were studied. The results showed that CaF2 promoted the phase transformation of phlogopite to fluorphlogopite and diopside, and Li2O promoted its phase transformation to iron leucite and iron magnesium olivine. Meanwhile, ZrO2 contributed to the sintering densifcation of mica ceramics instead of phase transformation. The apparent porosity of the mica ceramic with ZrO2 as an additive was close to that of the mica ceramic without an additive and the bending strength increased with the increase of the sintering temperature. The bending strength of the mica ceramic with ZrO2 reached the maximum, 32.55 MPa, after sintering at 1000 °C. In general, the mechanical properties of the mica ceramic with ZrO2 as an additive were the best.
