摘要
英汉两种语言中存在着大量不同种类的詈语,而动物类詈语便是其中较为常见的一种。本文从分析汉语和英语中的动物类詈语入手,阐明了其存在的隐喻意义,以及同一动物词在这两种语言中致詈的异同,同时揭示出汉英动物类詈语产生的文化根源。文章通过对汉英动物类詈语进行文化层面的分析,以期达到推动跨文化交流的效果。
There exist lots of different kinds of curse words in English and Chinese, and animal curse word is one of the more common one. Based on the analysis of animal curse words in English and Chinese, this article illuminates their metaphorical meanings and the similarities and differences of same animal word forming curse word in the two languages. At the same time, this article reveals the cultural roots of animal curse words in English and Chinese. This article analyzes the cultural aspects of English and Chinese animal curse words, so as to achieve the effect of promoting intercultural communication.
